Description dphaynes 2007-01-11 16:51:38 UTC
I am using RDP over a VPN. Windows XP on both ends, both completley up-to-date
with all patches. I'm using the standard Netbeans 5.5 Windows install on both ends.

I have two instances of Netbeans open, one locally and one on the PC I am
connected to over RDP.

If I cut text from the local instance and try to paste it into the remote
instance, the remote instance retrieves the contents of the remote machine's
local clipboard instead.

A workaround is to keep a standard Windows app (like notepad.exe) text window
open. Pasting into there and then cutting it from there so that remote machine's
local clipboard now contains the text, and then pasting that into the remote
Netbeans instance.
