Description David Simonek 2007-01-04 17:39:39 UTC
Update spec to make names of categories more general, commenters say:

Regarding the UI for setting the filter, what are the types of task list entries
that we are planning to have? Do we really expect to have categories called
"Java Errors", "JSP Errors", "Ruby Errors", "XML Errors" etc? I'd say the user
is typically not interested in this distinction, rather, they just want to see
all "errors" - with a per-language setting the list could easily become bloated.
The suggested approach is more oriented towards module writers, e.g. why is
"Find Bugs" listed as a separate item, when in practice FindBugs produces
"warnings" and "errors"? Would it make sense to agree on some standard generic
categories of entries, e.g. "errors", "warnings", "code style", "TODOs" etc?
