Sorry for the very bad title, can't think of anything better... In a treeview either the node is "closed" (Windows: "+", Mac: right arrow) or open (Windows: "-", Mac down arrow) and showing its children. Example: project explorer in Netbeans. The bug is that when you add a child to a parent, the parent shows the child but keeps the "closed" image, i.e. on my Mac the right arrow. How to reproduce (this is probably a Mac-only issue, but I'm not sure): in my case I created a Web application, created an empty folder in there, clicked on the folder's arrow (which disappears on the Mac, because the folder is empty), then added a file to that folder (say, HTML file). Now the child is shown, but the arrow points into the wrong direction. Yes, it's merely cosmetic, but it's not right. Netbeans is 6.0M4.
I'm just noticing that this isn't always reproducible. I created two folders, "clicked away" the arrows for both as they were empty, then created a new file in the second one. In that case the bug showed up. Now I created a new file in the upper one as well and the bug didn't show up...
