This happens mostly on Windows Steps to reproduce: - start IDE - start AS - set debug enabled for bpel_se - deploy all 8 SOA samples (BluePrint1-5, Synchronous, Asynchronous and TRS) - run some tests for these samples - switch to runtime tab - expand AS/JBI/ServiceAssemblies - select all assemblies - right click on them and perform stop/shutdown/undeploy in series Result: IDE hangs and takes 99% of CPU. The only way to stop it is to shutdown the processes via taskmanager or something. The thread dump is attached.

This issue occurs quite often last time and also in more simple cases. The above scenario just gives the bug more chanses to appear.

This probably has something to do with the timing of the user's mouse clicking. My guess is if the user waits for the previous action to finish before doing another mouse right-click to bring up the context-sensitive menu, the IDE will not hang.
