I want to view the DIFF with the expected output. Somehow I got inside the DIFF window but there is no way to switch back and forth between left and right windows with keyboard alone.
Could you please verify if you have the same problem with the normal Diff View? (Just select two files and invoke Tools->Diff from the context menu). If so, then this is a bug in the IDE. Please reassign to the appropriate module. If not, please reopen this issue.
with two files with the normal Diff view I can't get cursor to the right-side windows without using the mouse. Reassigning to the appropriate module.

jpavlicek: is this an a11y problem? If so, what shortcut is supposed to switch between left and right diff panels.
We either make the left window not focusable without a cursor or define shortcuts (such as CTRL+SHIFT + R and CTRL+SHIFT + L).
I suggest to do the left window focusable with a cursor and we should use the suggested shortcuts. On the usability study we will see, if it is better like not focusable window without a cursor. Remove this functionality we can whenever we like. Josef
Hi, I discussed the switching problem in the DIFF viewer inside my and usability team. The move from left window (component) to right is standard to use "TAB", from right to left we should use " SHIFT + TAB". If the left window is light-gray and if is not editable, we should not show the cursor. This is standard for Windows OS behavior. But, I don't see problem to have the cursor here. That is not some usability bug to show to the user the cursor here from my point of view. Josef
I checked it and Tab and Shift-Tab work as they should according to the comment above.
