Why is compapp project source folder is called "process Files" ??? This makes sense in bpel project but not here. should it be called "web reference" similiar to ejb project?
Calling it "Process Files" is probably inappropriate because it doesn't contain bpel process files. If my understanding is correct, the compapp project source folder is used to overwrite subproject's (abstract) wsdl file. Therefore, calling it something "reference" is probably not appropriate either.
Ritesh, I am not completely agree with your statement. Are you suggesting that wsdl and xsd files stored under comapapp project are not considered process files? Why not... the only use of those files is for updating/extending process files from bpel and other component projects. -- Tientien Li
I filed this bug on Jerry's request. In bpel project bpel process are the main artifact of bpel project so we are calling src as "process files". In compapp we will not have bpel file under "process files" but wsdl or xsd so name is misleading and it is not bpel process file centric.
So.. xslt, iep, ejb and others can not be considered as business "process" project because they don't use bpel? BTW, the name was changed from "sources" to "process files" per Jiri/Todd's request. If you really have problem with this name, please assign the issue back to Jiri/Todd. Thanks,
Lowered priority and reassigned to Todd..
Agreed that this name is not right. I don't recall a discussion of this for comp app project, only BPEL module project. We'll have to address after 5.5 due to UI freeze. Assigning to umbrella bug for post-release review.
Since this will be fixed later, I am reopening, and changing as an enhancement.
