Description paulsorvik 2006-09-13 19:14:12 UTC
I tried creating a project from existing source AND then I tried importing an
existing JBuilder project... neither method identifies source code that utilizes
swing UI so we can WYSIWYG edit the UI in the NB IDE.

This blocks us from adopting (migrating to) the NB IDE because we can't use/edit
the existing swing UI that we have spent many work months on; and we are not
going to recreate the swing UI (days or weeks of work?) just so we can use the
NB IDE.

Well, you are right. If you want to use our Form Designer, you have to spend
some time to design by this tool. Actually I don't know about any tool, that can
generate ".form" file (file with meta-data requested by our designer) from
existing sources. But if you want to use smart and helpful designer which will
save your time and of course money, I would vote for switch. For more details

Anyway thanks for your feedback.
