Description jlautz 2006-09-13 02:57:12 UTC
Seen on Windows XP with NB Build 200609120000:

1. Start the WSDL Wizard.
2. Enter appropriate values in Name and Location step and click Next.
3. In the Abstract Configuration pane, tab until the Operation Type field (drop
list) is selected.

==> When I use the down arrow (how a drop list is usually displayed), the next
item in the drop list is immediately selected, and the Input/Output/Fault
configure is immediately changed to reflect the new selection, whatever it is,
which is a bit of a surprise. Another common way to display a drop list is F2,
which doesn't work at all.

According to the Java Look and Feel Guidelines (I have no idea what NB expects),
the user usually has to display the drop list for the combo box using the
Spacebar, down arrow, or Alt-down arrow, then use the up or down arrow to select
an entry, then press Enter to choose the entry.

This problem also occurs in the Create New Operation and Create New Port Type
dialogs.
Comment 2 Ritesh Adval 2006-09-25 03:38:43 UTC
Though this could be a bug for being consistent with look and feed guidelines,
I am making it enhancement as user can select operation type using keys, so it
not really a blocker for A11y.
