With trunk build 060827, jdk1.5.0_07... Open a new schema. In Design view, drag/drop an element -> newElement1 is auto-selected for editing drag/drop a sub-element to newElement1 -> newElement1 is auto-expanded and its sub-element is auto-selected for editing In Schema view, right-click Elements and select Add Element; click OK In Design view, drag/drop a sub-element to newElement => a. newElement is not auto-expanded b. expand newElement -> newElement1 is not auto-selected for editing
I believe that DnD in design view has been eliminated. If I am correct this issue should be closed as invalid.
I'm sorry, what do you mean by "DnD in DV is eliminated"?
The issue doesn't exist anymore, but some other problem takes place. I have filed specific issue: 115252. Now I'm closing this one as fixed.
I think this is about auto expanding and it does not work. Steps: 1. Create a new Schema 2. Switch to Design View 3. Drag and Drop a new element(it is not selected for editing) 4. Drag and Drop a new sub element onto newElement (it is not selected for editing but Parent newElement is expanded) 5. Switch to Schema View and right click elements node->add new element 6. Switch to Design View (both parent elements are collapsed) 7. Drag and Drop a subElement onto newElement1 (not auto expanded as before until there is some other DnD action)
