Description Tomasz Slota 2006-08-07 10:05:10 UTC
Quote from user's feedback:

I've set Firefox a default browser of NetBeans.
And it works, but not as I expected. Every time,
before re-running the Web application I need
to quit Firefox.
Otherwise, I see next error message:
"Firefox is already running...".

I've set the "Browser Executable" field of
advanced options to:
/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox
Comment 1 Tomasz Slota 2006-08-07 14:16:29 UTC
Mac version of Firefox does not seem to support the remote command interface that we are using for
other Unix systems to communicate with already started browser. I have sent inquiry to the mozilla team:

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=2416310

Decreasing priority as the problem is affecting a small fraction of users (most Mac-lovers will stick to
Safari browser) and there are easy workarounds - set Firefox as default browser
Comment 2 Tomasz Slota 2006-08-07 14:20:30 UTC
I meant default *OS X* browser (Safari-Preferences-Default Web Browser)
