Migrated from BT. Using the AS node in the IDE Runtime window user can accidentally undeploy amserver without a warning. As of now a regular user would be faced with reinstallation of the whole EntPack as the only [supported] way to get AM installed again.
Please Reopen if this is still an issue.
Reopening it.

please ignore the attachment; it is for another bug.
The problem was that the added remote instance didnt have the name "Sun Application Server" in it. The fix is to use a different property from the J2EEModuleprovider's InstanceProperty. Using DISPLAY_NAME was wrong. Changedit to use URL_ATTR and that fixes it. Fix already checked in release55
sorry.. updated the wrong bug.. this still needs to be open.
How can the user do this? What are the steps to reproduce it and with what build are you using?
The user can pick the amserver node under appserver node in applications and invoke the action undeploy.. we dont give *special* treatment to this web app compared to other deployed web apps.
