Hi,

It would be excellent if I could select any configuration from which a certain
page of the configuration's settings are used instead of just the
DefaultConfiguration.
I could envision that instead of the checkbox, there would be a combobox where I
can select any configuration.
If that one uses the values of another configuration that would trickle down.

Sorry, this in fact is an enhancement rather than a defect.
