Description stefan.strauss 2000-10-27 13:56:46 UTC
It is not possible to start a main class from the cvs-tree.
(NoClassDefFound-Error)
From a locally directory it is no problem

Sorry Stefan,
but could you tell us what do you mean by:
"main class"

anyway. I made a simple class contained a main method.
And executed. This class was compiled and executed without problem.
Than I setted this class as a Project Main class
and tried execute a Project. Again without problem.

It works for me. So if you feel there is still any problem, pls,
attache your ide.log and give us more accurated info (how to reproduces, etc.)

1. Did you execute it from the CVS-tree?
In a locally directory which is NOT in the CVS-tree there are no problems.
2. Where can I find the ide.log?
Comment 4 Martin Entlicher 2000-11-06 10:49:59 UTC
Can you please try it with more recent builds (Build 5 is really too old) ?
In recent NetBeans builds it really works for me.
ide.log is located in your NetBeans system folder <netbeans home>/system/ide.log
