Description Andrei Badea 2006-07-11 18:01:49 UTC
According to Jano the files generated by the Entity Classes from DB, JSF from
Entity Classes and Session Beans for Entity Classes (and possibly other future
wizards generating multiple files) should be selected in the Projects view.

Currently not possible, requires a new API.
Comment 1 Pavel Buzek 2006-07-13 05:46:27 UTC
see also issue 72035

the we can do now is to select the folder which is what we already do (for
entities and jsf)
Comment 2 Petr Jiricka 2006-07-31 17:23:40 UTC
Is this really a P3? Since we do select the folder, I'd say this is P4.
Comment 3 Pavel Buzek 2006-07-31 19:12:26 UTC
it will not be solved in 5.5, not sure about priority
Comment 4 Petr Jiricka 2006-08-01 14:51:43 UTC
-> P4.
Comment 5 pslechta 2008-11-03 15:00:53 UTC
It is questionable if the wizards that generate multiple files (i.e. 20+ files if you create entity classes from small
database) should open all these files in editor. I don't think so and I don't see any advantage here.

Opening and selecting the node under which these files were generated should be enough for the user, so the user may see
all generated files and may open just files that are interesting for him.

Reporter, do you agree? What do you think about such functionality?
Comment 6 jrojcek 2008-12-15 16:00:33 UTC
If I understand it correctly, the report isn't about opening the files. It's about selecting the nodes in the Projects tab.
