Description Vladimir Kvashin 2006-06-27 17:40:02 UTC
Consider the code like follows

struct S {
    union { int i; long l; } field_1;
    union { int i; char c; } field_2;
};

The unnamed unions names are empty. The unique name is "S::" for both unions.
This is incorrect.
Comment 1 Vladimir Kvashin 2006-06-27 17:40:49 UTC
Implementation comment.
Consider numbering unnamed like anonymous classes are numbered in java.
Comment 2 Vladimir Kvashin 2008-02-29 12:26:46 UTC
I don't see undesirable end-user effects serious enough to fix it in 6.1
Comment 3 Vladimir Kvashin 2008-07-18 09:52:27 UTC
I see no undesirable end-user effects.
Downgrading to P4.
