dev build 200606221800 When I am in the Fonts and Colors options dialog, I am unable to click on the Foreground or Background comboboxes to expand their list of choices. If I click on the triangle at the right hand side of the JComboBox it expands but clicking on the main body does not do it anymore. This only seems to affect these two combo boxes. The Effects combobox works fine.
Sorry I just verified this is still the case. Is this by design or is this a confirmed bug?
Works for me on dev builds on Linux. Please, check again and provide feedback, let me know which platform you now use, build number.
This is 100% reproducible in 5.5 20060904 && 20060822 dev, both running on windows, jdk 1.6.0 b96
Windows platform, dev build 200609010000.
Editor->Options responsibility.
Still reproducible in 6.0 dev build 200610231800.
Still reproducible in 6.0 dev build 200705211800. Do you still plan on fixing this for 6.0 final (I would hope so)? At the very least I would ask that a Netbeans developer reproduce this issue under Windows to assert I'm not crazy :)
It seems to work fine on linux. Can somebody with readily available Windows box double check that, please?
Reproducible on WinXP (daily build 200705271800)
Thanks, probably L&F issue then. The combos use their own cell renderer, which could be causing problems.
Minor UI issue.
Please update the target milestone. BTW: This problem also occurs under Vista.
Resolving all issues with milestone "future" as LATER. If you feel strongly that it should be implemented please reopen and set the target milestone to "next".
NetBeans.org Migration: changing resolution from LATER to WONTFIX
This is still an issue in Netbeans 6.8 dev 200911070201
Closing this bug as wontfix. If you think that this should be fixed you will have to find someone who will fix it. Please don't reopen unless you re-assign it to someone willing to invest his/her time into fixing this. Thanks for understanding.
