This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
Steps to reproduce: - Create New Web Application targeted WebSphere server instance - Run it - RESULT: It would be deployed with "/" context-root. But there is another value set in the Web Application project's properties which should be used instead.
Due to WebSphere`s logic we have no ability to fix this issue. During WebModule`s creation of EAR wrapper of WebModule it`s context root is always set to "/". We have no ability to pass the context root that we want. So I change the state of this issue to wontfix.
Could you please provide a workaround for this issue to be added to RN?
The workaround is as simple as obvious and as coarse as well, but I can`t suggest anything more satisfactory. Use WebSphere Administrative console to deploy the Web Application with the desired context-root and start it at the end of procedure.
Reopen to Resolve as LATER
Will be fixed in future versions.
Agree to postpone the fix.
Issue based on 5.0, closing. Reopen if its still applicable to NetBeans 6.5.
