Original status: 7-Fix in Progress; Suggested Status: Original Target Release: coke_dev; Suggested Target Milestone : 5.5 Original submitter: kaktus Description: Steps to reproduce: - Create new orchestration project or open existent. - Open bpel multy-view editor by double-click on <name>.bpel node in projects tree. - Notice that Properties window not opens automatically. Evaluation: I am not sure if this is a bug based on NetBeans Human Interactions. Maybe it is a bug, need Jirka to give opinion. I am not sure because the properties window is not automatically visible in many situations in NB today.
Properties Window should automatically appear for all editors, if they are essential part of the ecology. This applies to Orchestration Designer as well as XSD Editor. Properties window DOES appear automatically with GUI builder. CCing Todd Fast to help us out with this as this does not only apply to Orchestration Designer.
This is a serious usability issue. For some of the activities (like Throw)there is no Edit... context menu item or any other indication how Throw activity visual editing is available.
The new TopComponentGroup "bpel_designer" is added, which contains the Property Sheet and the Navigator. Now they are appeared automatically for the BPEL diagram view. I suppose the Navigator is also necessary to be shown for the BPEL source view. But it isn't shown for it now.
Yes, Navigator should also appear for the Source view.
