Ctrl-alt-F6, which is the shortcut for "Run Internally" action, is eaten by X-Window system and switches to 6th virtual console. ------ NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200605281800) 1.5.0_07; Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM 1.5.0_07-b03 Linux version 2.6.12-1.1390_FC4smp running on i386 en_US (nb); UTF-8
What do you recommend? I think it is hard to find a good shortcut which is neither used by OS nor occupied by IDE. I would rather keep current state and let user to change shortcut in IDE options.
Ctrl-F10, Ctrl-F11, Ctrl-F12 are free, for example. Ctrl-J is free also, for all keyboard profiles.
