From Craig McClanahan: For the longer term, we should also think about predefining tag library directives (in the relevant syntax for a particular page) based on what frameworks you have enabled. So, a project building JSF-based pages would have the JSF tag libraries predefined; a Struts app would have the Struts taglibs already there, and so on. In Creator, I'd deal with something like this using the Design Time APIs (which provide a listener for when a new "context" ... i.e. a page ... gets created).
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue. Thanks for your cooperation, NetBeans IDE 8.2 Release Boss
