I am having trouble getting the nb IDE to convert sequence diagrams to
collaboration diagrams[like the help says].

UML tools is part of Enterprise Pack. Forwarding to enterprisepack component.

I think this feature is no longer supported? maybe the help content for this has
to be removed for this support.

Planned for drawing area upgrade after NB 6.0.

This bug has already been fixed. And the help has already been updated to
correctly show how this can be done. Here's the content from the help now. I'm
closing this bug now. Please re-open if you still see the problem in latest
NetBean 5.5 UML.

To convert between sequence and collaboration diagrams:
1. In the Projects window, expand the Model node for the diagram you want to
convert.
2.  Right-click the interaction node for the diagram. The interaction node has
the Interaction icon  .
3. Select Create Diagram from Selected Elements from the pop-up menu. The Create
New Diagram dialog box opens.
4. In the Create Diagram dialog box, select the type of diagram you want to
create and type the name for the new diagram.
5. Click OK. The IDE converts the Sequence diagram to a Collaboration diagram or
converts the Collaboration diagram to a Sequence diagram with the new name.

use Create Diagram from Selected Elements options
