[5.5build #200604190200 and #200604200200]
Start IDE with clear userdir - Startpage appears, "Articles&News" pane is filled
with correct content, but BLOGS pane stays empty. Only message "Error while
loading content" is there in BLOGS area. See attached screenshot.

This has to be solved for NB 5.5 , on our or/and server side

this is now fixed on the server side - the welcome page shouldn't be getting
invalid xml anymore.

It is "semifixed". The problem appeared again (just once). See attached
screenshot. I got the problem in following build:
NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200604252235)
1.5.0_05; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_05-43
Mac OS X version 10.4.6 running on ppc
en_US (nb); MacRoman

the server side script has been enhanced again to check for more errors.

please reopen and attach message.log if you encounter this issue again.
