Description jrojcek 2006-04-11 10:08:52 UTC
Finding
Participant wanted to search for a class containing"Word" in "Find in Projects" dialog. He didn't finish it
because he thought that "Search for Object Names Containing" means searching for something that
"contains" the string, not something that is "named" like that.

Severity
1 participant didn't search for class

Recommendation
Before redesigning the whole dialog, it would be good to at least change the wording in Object Name tab.
Exact wording TBD.

Accepted.
Comment 2 Marian Petras 2007-06-06 13:44:04 UTC
The Find dialogue has been redesigned (see issue #35255). The dialogue now does
not contain any tabs and it has two text-fields with the following labels:

    Containing Text: |________________________________|

    File Name Patterns: |________________________________|

The first NetBeans milestone with redesigned Find dialogue is Milestone 10.

I consider this bug fixed. Reopen it if you think the new UI is still confusing.
