This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
Last month, I downloaded the J2ME pack for NetBeans. I installed it and tried it out, but then decided not to use it. Since then I've uninstalled and reinstalled NetBeans, but the IDE still searches for the J2ME modules when I start up. I've also had trouble with modules I've installed from Geertjan's weblog refusing to uninstall. At the moment, an exception is occasionally thrown at startup when the IDE attempts to load the non existant modules. When this happens, it stops my free form projects from being able to run or debug using either hotkeys or the drop down menus.

Reassigning to core for evaluation
as a first aid i would recommend cleaning your userdir. Sometimes it can help.
