The new SQL mode doesn't recognize strings which span multiple lines correctly.
They are displayed in error colors like an unterminated string.

Example:

'this is a string
which spans multiple
lines.'

AFAIK in SQL strings can span multiple lines. At least no postgresql version had
problems with that, so I'm using it since years.
