Description fred_xing 2006-01-19 22:29:35 UTC
I was able to create the Paint Application (Quick Start Guide) and released it
as a ZIP file. It works well on Windows XP. However, it doesn't work on Solaris.
The issues I found:
1) start script was in DOS format and didn't work perperly on Solaris.
2) all text files such as *.xml were in DOS format that cased problems on
Soloaris. The splash screen didn't showup, the menus were missing.

(JDK1.4.2_04, Solaris9/CDE)

Please update Apisupport to "Update one", using Tools|Update center. This bug is
fixed there (and many others), and you'll get a new features for
module/application development. Thanks for report anyway. Verified.
