Description solkristos 2005-12-20 09:12:03 UTC
-Started with fresh userdir and daily build 200512182030 of NetBeans.
-Running NetBeans with Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build
1.6.0-rc-b64)
-Created Project (doesn't matter which type)
-Marked Project in explorer and brought up the popup menu. It is not possible to
invoke the New menu item from popup to create new File/Folder, Java Class, Java
Package, ...
-Same works perfectly running IDE on Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build
1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode, sharing)

Comment 2 Jiri Rechtacek 2005-12-20 09:30:44 UTC
Reproducible on my configurion:
>Log Session: Tuesday, December 20, 2005 10:19:27 AM GMT+01:00
>System Info:
  Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 051124)
  Operating System = Linux version 2.6.12 running on i386
  Java; VM; Vendor; Home  = 1.6.0-rc; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0-rc-b64;
Sun Microsystems Inc.; /space/shared/java/jdk1.6.0/jre

Also Dev build 051219 doesn't work.

It's regression between jdk1.6 b61 and jdk1.6 b64.
