Description Milan Kubec 2005-11-11 12:12:44 UTC
[dev-200511101900, JDK 1.5.0_05]

Quick Search in Explorer or in another component with tree (e.g. Overrides and
Implements Methods) doesn't show typed characters if they do not match with tree
item name. Then it looks like on attached screenshot and user doesn't see any
feedback. When you type first two matching characters then it is displayed even
when next chars are not matching.

Reproducible, but not in explorer.
Comment 3 Tomas Danek 2005-11-11 15:40:25 UTC
reproducible in files view, but not in projects view. Win XP
Comment 4 Tomas Danek 2005-11-11 15:50:34 UTC
aha, i've reproduced similar bug:
in files view, when using quicksearch, grey box with "Quick search:" is
displayed, but typed characters cannot be seen.
Comment 5 Stanislav Aubrecht 2005-11-30 12:08:04 UTC
works for me, nb 051123, jdk 1.5, win xp, clean user dir

any special prerequisites to reproduce?
Comment 6 Milan Kubec 2005-11-30 12:16:22 UTC
Probably yes - disabled memory metter. Still easily reproducible for me in
Projects view and Files view. After disabling the memory metter do restart
because once it starts to paint it's OK in current session.
Comment 7 Zdenek Konecny 2005-11-30 13:03:03 UTC
with enabled memory metter it's reproducible too, but in other component with
tree then Explorer (eg. Browse CVS Module).
Comment 8 Stanislav Aubrecht 2008-10-22 11:41:40 UTC
cannot reproduce
