I tried collaboration on NetBeans 5.0 Beta on Windows XP (Japanese) with Java ES Instant Messaging Server 2005Q4 (version 7.0). When I tried to create conversation as Japanese on NetBeans, 2 conversations are created. One is not active. Environment: NetBeans 5.0 Beta Windows XP (Japanese) Collaboration Provider for Sun Java System Instant Messaging Server (1.0.4) Java ES Instant Messaging Server is running on Solaris 9 x86 platform. Step: 1. Install and configure Java ES IM server create accounts 2. Start NetBeans 3. Try to create public conversation on "Create Public Conversation" dialog 4. Enter Japanese as conversation name, then click "OK" at that point, one conversation is newly created -> it's OK! 5. select the conversation, from content menu, click "Open" to start the conversation duplicate conversation is created on the list, then it shows the error that the conversation is not usable. I'm not sure it's problem in NetBeans or in Java ES IM server. I'll attach the snapshot.
Created attachment 25882 [details] snapshot: duplicate conversation is listed
Reassigning to issues@collab. Collab Support plugin is not actively maintained. Obsoleted in 6.7 by the newly introduced integration with Project Kenai, a collaborative environment for developers to host their open-source projects, which includes also a chat service.
