Description kommurub 2005-10-03 18:05:21 UTC
When you use Alt+Tab in windows, to switch between netbeans and an other
window, let's say a notepad, while keeping the cursor on a line of code (of
netbeans), It takes the focus out of code editor and keeps it on 'File menu'
of the netbeans. Try using Alt+Tab two times, you will see this.

This way does not let you code quickly/comfortably. It must keep the focus on
where it was before.

I have logged this issue before, somebody closed and said that this was not
reproducible.

Reassigning to core, probably winsys issue. I cannot reproduce on Win XP.
Comment 2 David Simonek 2005-10-12 16:01:30 UTC
Known Swing bug, not Netbeans. Already fixed:
http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4841881

You are probably using JDK 1.4.x Please upgrade to jdk 5.0 and the problem
should be gone.
