I have an iBook hooked up to a monitor so that I have dual monitors. For whatever reason, I don't get the Mac menu on my external monitor i.e. it's only shown on the iBook LCD. When I run NetBeans and move the IDE window to the external monitor (to get more realestate), it becomes very difficult for me to use the IDE. This, because I have to go the LCD to access the IDE menu (since it is now in the Mac menu) whereas my IDE window is on the external monitor. Is there any way to get the menu on my external monitor? thanks, arif.
I don't think there's anything we can do. We instruct the apple jvm to place the menu on top and have no influence over the placement on primary or secondary display. Does it work for other macosx apps? for other java apps? closing as wontfix, not much we can do from netbeans codebase, as ar as I know.
