Description Vince Kraemer 2005-09-28 22:32:24 UTC
There is no tooltip to tell me what actual file the image is.

So, if I have two files with the 'name' Foo.gif displayed in "editors" and
multiple possible matches in the explorer there is only brute force search to
discover if the correspondence.
Comment 1 Marian Petras 2005-10-21 15:25:09 UTC
The tooltip is displayed if you place the mouse cursor over the image file's tab.

Tested on build 200510201800, JDK 1.5.0_05 on the following platforms:
    Solaris @ Sun
    Solaris @ x86
    Linux @ x86

Maybe you just expect the tooltip to appear when you hover over the image itself?
Which JDK/JRE version did you use?
Comment 2 Vince Kraemer 2005-10-21 18:11:34 UTC
Well, it is working today, so I guess it was a transient issue.

Marking as random and lowering.
Comment 3 Marian Petras 2005-10-21 18:34:04 UTC
Thanks for the report.

Please add a comment here if you ever encounter the same problem again.
Comment 4 Jiri Prox 2007-09-17 20:27:38 UTC
Obsolete milestone, please reevaluate
Comment 5 Alexei Mokeev 2008-11-10 08:29:43 UTC
Checked with 6.5 RC2 - tooltip is shown correctly.
Is anyone experiencing this problem since 2005 ?
Marking as INCOMPLETE, please remove this keyword if it's yet reproducible.
