After instalation of sol/sparc daily build, installer has leaved folder "InstallShield" in my home. As I investigated files inside, i don't suppose they are necessary for IDE to run. Is it really reasonable that installer leaves this folder??
It is how new InstallShield 11 works. We cannot change it. This folder contains cache of some settings and some library jars of IS11. (If you delete this dir you will not able to run uninstaller.) After product uninstallation there is still InstallShield directory left in user home dir with some empty dirs.
But that's pretty ugly! Great step backwards.. I suppose all users like their home transparently organized, without any files and folders that some app left here for "future use"..btw if the folder is so necessary - why it's not mareked with dot..?! For me - since then I'll rather unpack IDE from zip...closing:(
