Description Rich Unger 2005-08-01 15:42:29 UTC
A re-filing of http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=60403 in the ide
subsystem, at rbalada's suggestion:

This would be really, really useful for people using the NB Platform. Make an
AU center that contains _all_ the modules in CVS. That way, if I want to build
something on the platform, and use, say XML support, I can download the
platform, connect to AU, and pull in the XML modules and anything they depend
on, in order to create the basis for my module suite.

I believe that this will be solved (in a (very) similar way you described here)
as part of the new apisupport. See
http://apisupport.netbeans.org/new-apisupport.html, part V-b.

Same as issue #60403, no need for a separate issue report.

#60403 is currently closed because there is no one available and competent to
make and maintain such an AU site. I have confirmed that this is not likely to
change. Sorry.
