Description Marian Mirilovic 2005-07-20 09:37:16 UTC
NB.dev(200507191800), JDK 6.0 (b43)

Steps to reproduce:
- run IDE
- open New Project wizard (try the same with New File wizard)
-> Description area is very small (see attached screenshot)

It can't be reproducible with JDK 1.5.0_04

Probably a problem with layouting wizard forms on jdk1.6. Must be fixed in nb4.2.
Comment 3 Tomas Danek 2005-07-21 12:22:29 UTC
I've tried to reproduce this in 20050719, jdk 1.6, metal LnF, but everything
seems to be ok?!?! Attaching screenshot.

I can confirm this behaviour (one-line description area, XP Pro).

There seem to be more layout problems with 1.6 b43, for instance, in Update
Manager module selection dialog the list on the right side is too small.
Comment 6 Milan Kubec 2005-08-02 10:35:06 UTC
Reproducible on JDK 6.0 b45, WinXP.
Comment 7 Milan Kubec 2005-08-02 10:38:53 UTC
It's not only about description area but also the right pane with the list of
available templates seems to be too small and the left pane is too large.

Seems to be common problem to display TreeView and EditorPane under wizard
infrastructure. Duplicate of issue 61442.
