Description Jiri Kovalsky 2005-05-25 15:20:54 UTC
FCS build #200505031930 of NetBeans 4.1
Windows XP, JDK 1.5.0_03 build #6

Description:
============
It is very confusing to see non versioned files in result window when searching
by status. Please ignore those files since they don't have any status annotation
or VCS actions.

Steps to reproduce:
===================
1. Register CVS working directory in Versioning Manager.
2. Create new Java Application project in this directory.
3. Switch to "Files" view and invoke "Find..." on the project root node.
4. Switch to "Status" tab, select "Local" status name and push "Search".
5. The search will find also nbproject/private/private.properties file.

I guess this is not much hard to fix.
Comment 2 Jiri Kovalsky 2009-03-30 13:07:42 UTC
Is this still valid Martine? I guess it can be safely closed, can't it?
Comment 3 Martin Entlicher 2009-03-30 14:30:07 UTC
I have no idea whether this is fixed in the new versioning systems.

In old, non-functional vcscore module this will not be fixed anytime soon and therefore can be closed as later or wontfix.
Comment 4 Quality Engineering 2009-12-21 07:29:38 UTC
This bug was reported against NetBeans IDE 6.0 or an older release, or against a non-maintained module. NetBeans team does not have enough resources to get to this issue, therefore we are closing the issue as a WONTFIX. If you are interested in providing a patch for this bug, please see our NetFIX guidelines for how to proceed.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you.
