Issue info: - put monitor 2 on left - move rave to monitor two - hover over locations where tooltop is available - tool tip shows flush on left of monitor 1 eric.arseneau@sun.com 2004-06-08
Same as with issue #58077. Please try to run with -J-Dnetbeans.popup.no_hack=true and report the result. Thanks.
Eric, please could you try it out?
- the -J-Dnetbeans.popup.no_hack=true makes no difference on this one - FYI, if the main window starts off on launch to be on monitor 2, then tooltip shows up on wrong monitor - if the window is moved entirely to monitor 1, tooltip shows up correct place - if the window is moved entirely back to monitor 2, tooltip shows up in correct place now
Too late for NB5.0, please reevaluate.
Still valid in some cases, especially when nb window is partly on both monitors. However I think this is JDK issue, not netbeans specific. Will investigate deeper.
Caused by jdk bug 6486066.
verified - this is JDK bug
