[ JDK VERSION : 1.5.0_02 ] I'm pleased to see that in NB 4.1 it's possible to change to tree view for project packages. But I don't like having the "Folder"-Icon for packages instead of the "package"-Icon (The four parts square thingy). The reasons why I don't like folder icon for packages (in project view) is: - the 'project' view looks nearly like the 'file' view then. - A package is in a Java sense 'more' than a folder (I thinking of visibility of class members). This should be honored by a special icon - in Package-view (one line per package)there's the package icon. Why two icon for the same object type?
Jano? I'd say yes. But probably not for 4.1? Or even for 4.1?
Yes, the icon should be "Java Package" icon, not the folder icon. See the spec.
This could be be considered as a defect.
