Description Jesse Glick 2000-02-11 01:22:45 UTC
The Startup node (DesktopNode.Startup in impl) should include New from Template action on it; currently users must create a file elsewhere and then paste it in.

Problem: just including this in the context menu does not work. The NFT dialog shows only visible filesystems. If you explicitly type in Startup as the package, it instead creates such a folder in the
 first filesystem.

Problem #2: copying the template and Paste -> Instantiate does not work either! Java file entry throws an exception saying that the requested name (presumably, the same as the template?? e.g. "Class")
is not a valid Java identifier.

Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
