Description brviking 2005-03-15 19:23:16 UTC
Could jsp support automatic conversion between special characters (like ç) to
their HTML equivalent (&ccedil, in this case)?
May be this is done throught refactor, or throught reformat code.

Richter.

At first sight it looks like good feature, which should be easily implemented
with search and replace function. But when I thought about this deeply, it is
not so easy. For example, when you paste a part of java code in the html the
feature should distinguish that the code is in the <pre> or <code> tag.

Thanks for this. I'm going to put it in the plan.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
