Description Andrei Badea 2005-03-15 13:42:09 UTC
1) Open the "New EJB Module with Existing Sources" wizard
2) Choose the location of a project which already contains a build.xml file
3) ERROR: You get a message saying you cannot place the project in a project
folder which already contains a build.xml file. Expected behavior is like in the
web project: you should be asked which name should the project's build script be
generated under.
Comment 1 Andrei Badea 2005-03-18 00:02:46 UTC
Seems only the web project has this behavior. Will have to investigate for promo-F.
Comment 2 Andrei Badea 2005-04-07 10:43:54 UTC
Jirko, reassigning to you for evaluation. Should we add this feature to the
other projects, or should it be removed from the web project? Thanks.
Comment 3 Jiri Kopsa 2005-04-07 16:22:16 UTC
I think it's a very reasonable feature, thus let's put it also to the EJB module
wizard.
Comment 4 Jiri Kopsa 2005-04-07 16:32:05 UTC
Adding the doc writers, since this might have an impact on the help set (in 4.2).
Comment 5 Petr Blaha 2006-03-13 13:48:04 UTC
TM 5.0 -> TBD
Comment 6 Milan Kubec 2006-06-14 14:17:26 UTC
The problem is not only build.xml file, but also 'build' and 'dist' folders,
those are not handled even in web application project from ex. src. So I would
consider this issue as feature request (re. jkopsa's comment "I think it's a
very reasonable feature") and I'm changing issue type to enhancement. Probably
should be somehow handled by all projects created from ex. src.
Comment 7 Jiri Prox 2007-09-17 20:30:06 UTC
Obsolete milestone, please reevaluate
Comment 8 David Konecny 2008-04-09 01:43:20 UTC
*** Issue 74178 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. ***
Comment 9 Martin Balin 2016-07-07 08:55:16 UTC
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
