Description Vince Kraemer 2005-03-03 00:43:29 UTC
The subject line basically says it all.
Comment 1 Vince Kraemer 2005-03-03 17:24:52 UTC
Since Sun Java System Application Server 7 doesn't have a jsr88
implementation, we probably need to depend on the simplification of
j2eeserver.

Not that this feature was implemented, but on a related note, in NB 5.0, if you
have a servlet 2.3 (e.g. J2EE 1.3) web application, you can change the version
of the sun-web.xml generated to be for AppServer 7.0 instead of the default
(SJSAS 8.1).

Make sure that there are no open editors on sun-web.xml (either text or gui),
select the sun-web.xml node in the project or files explorer and either right
click | Properties, or select Window | Properties from the main menu (and
reselect sun-web.xml if necessary). There is a new property called version, and
it will reflect the DOCTYPE (e.g. AS version) that is used for reading and
writing the file. As long as the project is a webapp targeting only 2.3 and not
2.4, SunONE Application Server 7.0 will be a valid choice.
