When installing AS on Mac OS X then suggested 
destination directory contains something like 
NetBeans4.1-dev. For Beta it has to be 
e.g. "NetBeans4.1-Beta"

Fixed in beta branch.

Issue has been verified with lastest beta build under JDS Release 3 and JDK 1.5.0_02

Sorry. Of course it has been verified under Mac OS X.
