It would be very useful to be able to validate 
the HTML and tags in JSP's (like the Validate XML 
feature)  and then preview them in a browser. The 
lack of this feature makes JSP development much 
more time consuming and error prone. Are there 
any plans for this?

Preview in browser is implemented - see actions HTML-View and JSP-Run.
JSP can be validated by compiling (F9).

I don't fully understand Validation part. Do you mean adding support for HTML
Validator?
