Description Milan Kubec 2004-12-20 14:30:27 UTC
[dev-200412191900, JDK 1.5.0_01]

'Properties' menu item of platform node under
Libraries node is disabled.
Comment 1 Tomas Zezula 2005-01-31 16:28:49 UTC
There is no "Properties" action according to the UI Spec.
It was removed.
Comment 2 Milan Kubec 2005-02-02 09:49:02 UTC
Don't undestand why user should do something the more difficult way if
there might be easier one. Nevermind, reopening and reassigning to Jano.

Nodes under Libraries and Test Libraries nodes should have Properties
in their menus. Selecting Properties menu item would open either
Library Manager or Java Platform Manager with selected coresponding
item. User would be allowed easily access properties of something that
is on the classpath without invoking those Managers and searching for
the item.
Comment 3 Max Sauer 2005-08-12 13:53:55 UTC
Still valid in promoF (200508111800). Old target milestone, changing to TBD.
Comment 4 jrojcek 2005-10-14 17:21:45 UTC
I agree that it would be good to be able to access platform/library properties from contextual menus.
The library dialog would look like this:
http://projects.netbeans.org/nonav/buildsys/j2se-project-ui-spec-
promoe.html#Dialog_One_Library_Manager

Too late for 5.0

I think the behavior is specified. Let me know if you need more info.

Not sure this is a defect. Rather an enhancement.
