Description horaciotrimax 2004-12-03 17:41:24 UTC
Start up netbeans 4.0rc1 for the first time, import
settings, and CVS doesn't work.

In "Versioning" windows, right-clic on an mounted
cvs dir, select "Customize" and I see
"CVS Server Type: LOCAL", and that's wrong...
I fix that (set 'pserver', cvs user, repository
path, password), try to log in, and this works.

I could update, commit, etc.

I close netbeans, and when I start it again,
the CVS configuration is loss, again. To make it
work again, I have to re-configure every time
I start NB.

Unfortunately it is reproducable if import settings is allowed from
4.0 beta2 to 4.0 RC1. Only working directory is remembered. But we
think this not bug of priority P1. By the way, there should not be
imported this kind of settings.
Martin, what do you think?

Also you can start rc1 with "-userdir" switch with beta2's user dir.
(path to the user dir). This help you to load VCS registered directory
with correct values.

This is a duplicate of issue #52026. It concerns all VCS profiles.
