[ JDK VERSION : J2SE 1.4.2_05 ]

Opened project properties. Removed the last
classpath entry. Presse OK. Total lockup. No
repaints, nothing logged. After killing the NB
process and restarting the classpath was
unchanged, i e as it was before I opened project
properties.

Opened project.xml for manual editing to remove the unwanted classpath
entry. Pressed Ctrl+S. Same lockup but this time the changes was saved
before NetBeans froze.

You need to provide a thread dump for deadlocks to be diagnosed. Run
nb.exe (not netbeans.exe) and use Ctrl-Break.

When it happens again, make thread dump, reopen this issue and attach
it. Thanks.
