Description Roman Strobl 2004-10-07 10:11:17 UTC
[Netbeans 200410070525; JDS v.2; JDK 1.5.0]

When clicking on View->Web Browser with browser
already opened Netbeans open the URL in this
window. That works fine but the web browser
remains on foreground. Expected behaviour should
be that the web browser comes to foreground.

On JDS/Linux there is no activity, on WinXP the
opened web browser at least starts to blink in the
bottom panel but doesn't go to foreground. There
were reported some problems with one of Microsoft
security patches which breaks the functionality of
opening the external web browser on WinXP.

As suggested by Martin Grebac this feature could
be re-implemented in a better way using JDIC
plug-in (https://jdic.dev.java.net).
