.cvsignore files are not visible but their content is not used to filter files. Please change at least the setting under Options/IDE Configuration/System/System Settings/Ignored Files The best solution would be to hide .cvsignore files and support additional commands like "ignore this file" and "ignore all files that match this filter"
Hi, I think this is rather enhancement than defect. It's a good idea and will be considered for next release.
Moving to CVSlite.
CVSlite provides "Ignore" and "Unignore" commands that add/remove files and directories to/from .cvignore. I'm changing summary accordingly.
CVSlite provides various means of ignoring files: server-side cvsignore, ~/.cvsignore, per-directory .cvsignore and Ignore/Unignore commands for individual files. Marking as fixed.
Ignore/Unignore for *file patterns* does not seem to be implemented yet as in netbeans-4_2-qbuild-bin-200509081355-windows-8_Sep_2005_1355.exe
Limited support for file patterns is implemented for .cvsignore files in 5.0. Moving full support to future.
