Description llturro 2004-07-30 16:57:51 UTC
I'm using NB4.0 QBuild 15 July

Try deleting test.one package will delete test.*

I think this is a duplicate of a bug which was fixed recently. Jesse?
Comment 2 Jesse Glick 2004-07-30 21:10:35 UTC
No data loss AFAIK: only empty packages removed.

Sorry Jesse, but I just lost 5 hours coding because this issue. The
whole xmlportal package was deleted whereas I only select
xmlportal.sql. I think priority should be P1, as specified in Priority
Guide.

we're sorry but this is the nature of living on the bleeding edge. NB
4.0 is still in prerelease phase.

We think this bug has been reported and fixed.

Please verify if it's true with the latest nighly build.

Thanks for reporting bugs and your patience

As with all dev builds, users are exhorted to either not use them on
production code, or to make frequent backups. Sorry.

Please check again in the next dev build you get, and if you do file
bugs, include detailed steps to reproduce. There were several bugs
related to the package view that we know about that had different
causes and effects and were fixed at different times, and it is not
possible to tell them apart unless the bug report is stated precisely.

Hi guys, I'm not complaining. I'm using NB4.0 because I love it, can't
stay without it. But because I'm working with it, I only download
QBuilds. I'll check it again next QBuild.
